Spring Transition Outfits / White Tie Waist Dress & OTK Boots

Last week, Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog predicted that spring is coming early this year! But he’s also only right 40% of the time.

Have I share how much I’m over winter? Spoiler alert: it’s a lot! And while I’m desperate for bare legs kind of weather, I’m not quite ready to show off skin in below freezing temps (despite what my last outfit post might indicate).

I recently ordered this $24 white dress – the fabric is a bit thin and not as soft as I would have hoped, but it’s on par for what you would expect at this price point. I love the tie front at the waist and couldn’t wait for warmer weather to wear it, so I paired it with my $99 over the knee boots to keep my legs nice and snug. It’s an easy way to transition your spring dresses through the end of winter – let’s just hope Phil was right and that it’ll be a quick transition this year!

I love this long-sleeve floral dress so much. Yes, it’s perfect for Thanksgiving dinner with your family (or your in-laws!), but it’s also great for work, brunch, church – really any activity that doesn’t involve sitting on your couch in pajamas (unless you’re fancy like that). What to Wear for Fall / Striped Sweater & Navy Skirt

When it comes to clothes, I feel like I go through phases. In the summer, it was wide leg, fluid pants (see here and here) and during the fall, I’ve been wearing mini skirts and boots like crazy (so here and here). I bought this this navy flare skirt and it has rekindled my love for mini skirts. I love it paired with this striped sweater (how cute are the ruffle sleeves?!) and my go-to tan suede knee high boots. I mean, when you find an outfit that works, I say style it over and over again!
