Sorry for the radio silence — I got carried away with my birthday celebrations, hopped on a flight to the South of France and didn’t once break out my laptop to blog. I’ve got a lot of fun travel content coming up in the next few weeks, but for now let’s keep this Hump Day post short and sweet.

I scored this navy floral dress during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which just wrapped up on Sunday (so yes, I promise to stop talking about it after this!). The good news is, even at full price, it’s still only $45! You might have already seen me wearing it in white and black floral print. I’ve also worn it as a top under a skirt and will probably throw a chunky cardigan over it come fall. It comes in 3 floral prints and 3 solid colors, so believe me when I say this style is super versatile!

People seem to think I’ve mastered the art of mixed prints, but it’s really just one combo that I go back to time and time again.

Stripes and florals! Most recently seen here, but this outfit is a new favorite. Remember this striped dress? I wore it last week with a navy anorak, but to switch things up, I tucked it into this tropical floral print maxi skirt. It’s time to tone down the pretty pinks (until tomorrow at least …) and go back to the basics. Mind you that my “basics” usually involve a mixture of leopard and stripes. Separately, they’re a delightful twist on neutrals, but together, they’re an mixed print powerhouse.
