The Gray Winter Coat I’ve Worn for Years

I’m ready for warmer weather, but Mother Nature hasn’t gotten the memo yet.

J.Crew Chateau Coat (00) / Similar Leopard Scarf / White Mock Neck Sweater (XS) / Black Maternity Fleece Lined Leggings (c/o) (here are my favorite non-maternity leggings) / Lace Up Snow Boots (only $35 – normally a 6.5, sized up to a 7) / Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’

Last week’s forecast: snow. This week’s forecast: more snow. And while I’m dreaming of flowy sundresses and sandals, I think the style forecast will be more winter coats and snow boots for a little while longer. I purchased the J.Crew Chateau coat a few years ago (I think at least three or four?!) and it’s my go-to winter coat whenever I’m not in the mood for a puffer jacket (although I’m still very much loving my Amazon puffer).

This gray wool coat is a winter wardrobe essential. It goes with pretty much everything, has roomy pockets and a detachable fur trim for the hood. It’s obviously not as warm as a puffer coat, but with the right layers (think a fuzzy sweater and a chunky leopard scarf), it will still get you throw a snowy scene like the one we’re seeing in NYC this week! Stay warm friends!
