do laundry visit my parents. But I never really felt like I moved “away” until we moved to NYC nearly six years ago. If you asked me where I wanted to live back in 2012, New York would it be it. It felt like such an amazing feat — and it still does!
But since Meg asked me more recently, I’ll dream even bigger and say London. I realize that’s not that far of a stretch, but it’s just the perfect combination of factors. London is just across the pond, so it’s easy to get back to the U.S. if I ever get homesick. I wouldn’t have to learn a new language and it has a modern city vibe amidst its incredibly rich history. The foodie scene is awesome and Paris is just a train ride away!
Bonus: James once said he wouldn’t mind moving to London so I’ll call that a win (are you reading this, babe?). One of my favorite bloggers to follow, Mollie Moore, just recently moved from NYC to London and I’m getting all kinds of inspiration. While we’re not actually planning to move anytime soon, a girl can dream!
Now it’s your turn! If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Let me know in the comments section. And if you have any questions you’d like answered on the blog, let me know!

You answered my question! 🙂 thanks girl! My husband and I always ponder where we would live if we won the lotto and we both always say New York! There’s no way I’m taking another bar exam, so I won’t be moving unless I become independently wealthy!
Barcelona! I visited for the first time last fall, and immediately felt at home. It was a combo of city living and slow pace. The people we encountered were so friendly, the food/drinks were amazing, and I immediately took to daily siestas.
