I love this tip – a great “fix” that ended up working out with your style of dress. I had bought an Ann Taylor sleeveless, v-neck floral dress a few years ago and it was just too loose. I typically don’t have things tailored to the point where they are fitted but thought I would give it a try. The tailor pinched both sides so tightly that when I went to try it on, it bulged in the mid-section and I could never fit into it. I don’t think for that dress leaving a gaping hole in the back and pinning the top would have solved the problem, but I do like the solution you presented! Did you end up taping the dress over the top of the zipper or is the zipper still visible? The dress looks great on you!
