Monochromatic Midi

Black and White OutfitEven though I love me some bold color, I have been known to dabble in more neutral palettes from time to time.  When I got my hands on this black midi skirt (yeah … I also have it in berry and green), I knew I wanted to play up its sophisticated feel.  Polka Dot Sleeveless Blouse

Black and white feels a little cooler and just seems so right.  Maybe New York is rubbing off on me.  Maybe this is a part of growing up.   Whatever it is, you can still count on a sprinkle of polka dot or a dash of color, just to make sure I’m not taking myself too seriously.Black and White AccessoriesSophisticated Spring OutfitYellow and Beige Colorblock Satchel

  3. I love this skirt, I dont have any Midi skirts but I feel like it is about time I got on this great trend, so classic.
I am right there with you about usually gravitating toward color but lately also really liking neutrals.

  6. Looks great on you! As much as I love colour, black and white is so chic! But if J.Crew has taught us anything, you are never too old for colour!

Love those shoes with the sweet short, chunky heel. I’ve got a pair myself and they’re so perfect for helping me feel a bit more dressed up while remaining totally comfortable!
